Marharyta is an Assistant within Assurance, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. She started at EY as an Intern Auditor, but then joined HR project, part of which is related to Metaverse. She likes to be innovative and help teams to be a part of the experience.
Can you introduce yourself?
I'm Marharyta and I've completed my Master's in Math's. Along with that, I've an additional Marter's degree in Public Administration. It's nice to have a combination of studies and exposure of the outer world. I'm very interested in pop-culture, art, organizing events and like to travel a lot.
What attracted you to EY?
I came to EY organization to test my technical skills and got attracted by the possibilities to work with people and international cooperation.
Did you always know you wanted to work in technology? What inspired you?
The younger generation spent a lot of time on the internet. So, at some point, technology became a part of your life naturally.
Why is working in technology at EY an exciting place to work right now?
EY is a huge organization with almost limitless network and even bigger possibilities, especially to find right fit for your interests. Good mentor can help you to better understand your interests and offer projects where you can try something new, it’s always exciting to expand your boundaries.
What do you enjoy the most about your role at EY?
I like combination of helping people, gaining new skills, while still developing career in the field I’m interested in. I really enjoy seeing good results after we tried new formats. You can definitely feel the success of project if your part was implemented and got a good outcome to it.
What advice would you give someone trying to decide whether to begin a career in Technology at EY?
I truly don’t think that you have to spend years of studying to start working with technology. It’s more about your own excitement, curiosity and willingness to explore more. Another useful advice is – go ahead and ask people about anything you are interested in. EY is a huge organization with almost limitless network, so there must be someone who can bring you an overview or help you to accelerate your career!
