Tax technology transformation ___________________

EY Tax services have undertaken a substantial transformation so we can provide support to our clients’ digital tax transformation journey with trusted and intelligent use of data.

I work closely with the EY Data Office on projects covering automating tax processes, integrating software solutions, and utilising data analytics for efficient compliance, cost savings, accurate reporting, and decision-making.

The blend of tax complexities with technological and data insights presents a dynamic landscape. Devising tech-driven solutions, analyzing data patterns, and adapting to evolving regulations fosters excitement and continuous learning.

How EY ifb is using technology to support transformation

EY ifb launched in December 2022 following a merger with ifb, and offers an array of full-service solutions to help banks and insurance companies in their finance, risk and digital transformation.

As a project manager working in technology transformation at EY ifb in Germany, Simone Koßmann supports in bridging the gap between technology and transformation projects.

My studies in Theoretical Chemistry combined with work experience at a bank were a great start for my current role as a solutions architect project manager − working on a number of transformation projects with banking clients.

These projects focus on transforming the client’s risk process and data management landscape using a robust business architecture-driven transformation approach. The approach imposes a close integration of business design and technical implementation.

Throughout the years, I’ve learned to accept and tackle challenges, and I’m always constantly learning something new about technology and implementing business processes.

More recently, I was delighted to be selected as team lead. This gave me the opportunity to work with younger colleagues and guide them through their technology career.

What I love most about my role is mentoring colleagues and seeing them grow.
