The role of a Technology Consultant - with a focus on Data Analysis and Data Science - is to use your numerical and problem-solving skills and creativity to understand data to solve business problems. This could include:
working with large data sets
manipulation of data
automation of reporting
data visualisation
identifying patterns and trends in complex data
This will involve using tools such as:
Microsoft Power Bi
Microsoft Power Apps
Python, R
Azure
The role is project based, which means there will be a variety of business problems that you will work on, which may also give you the opportunity to experience new and emerging technologies. Project work may vary between working on internal EY data issues, and for some individuals, working directly with our clients. Sometimes you may be asked to work on a client site, although this is optional and will be discussed on an individual-by-individual basis. Projects vary in length and can be anywhere between two weeks to up to six months and projects will be assigned driven by business need.

We are looking for individuals who meet both the education/work experience AND technical skill set criteria as follows:
Education/Work ExperienceEither a graduate mostly likely in a Science or Mathematics based subject OR relevant practical work experience in a data analytics, data science or business analysis related role.
Technical SkillsWe are looking for people who have an interest in data analytics, AI or technology and have two or more of the following technical skills:
Experience of using statistical methods and tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
Experience of preparing reports on trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data
Experience of different operating systems
Knowledge of coding or programming languages
Advanced Excel Functions experience
Ability to analyse and manipulate data
